My name is Michelle Lynn Hall, sometimes my friends call me Meech (I’m not really sure how to spell that) but usually everyone just calls me Michelle! I grew up in Bucyrus Kansas which is about 30 minutes south of Kansas City and currently live in Manhattan, Kansas where I go to school at Kansas State University. I am a sophomore studying Kinesiology and I want to become a physical therapist. I really enjoy my major especially right now because I am taking an anatomy and physiology class which is blowing my mind about how awesome our God is to create us the way He did! I am also involved with one of our campus ministries called The Navigators, where we have weekly worship and bible study.
I don’t have a job currently because my classes seem to consume most of my time. In my free time I enjoy being with my friends and family. I also enjoy riding horses but I don’t get to do that very often now that I am away at school. I really love telling/hearing cheesy jokes!! I like to do spontaneous things with friends, like rolling down hills in bubble wrap.
I have gone on four mission trips with my church back home when I was in high school. We have travelled to Kentucky, Louisiana, Colorado and Arizona- where we worked on a Navajo Reservation, one of the coolest experiences I have ever had.
I am so excited for this trip!! I am most excited to experience the culture and people of Kenya. This is definitely going to be out of my comfort zone which scares me but I think God is going to teach me so much through this experience! I feel God has been laying short term mission on my heart, He has taught me so much through His word about what it means to be a servant. I can’t wait for our trip I know God has great things planned for us!
