My name is Matthew Cole, everyone calls me Matt.
I live in Acworth, GA which is twenty minutes outside of downtown Atlanta. I live in the same house I have lived in my entire life, eventhough I am in college, no worries though, I am saving a large chunk of change. I attend Kennesaw State University and love every second of it. I am an organizational communications major hoping to springboard into seminary after I graduate, what seminary I have yet to figure out, but I have time.
I am first and foremost a musician and a musician that only enjoys being a lead worshipper. I love everything about worship music. I cannot go an hour without singing to my Beloved Abba. I help lead worship for House Church at Kennesaw. I play the guitar, viola, bass, drums, violin, and piano. I have also played soccer my entire life and cannot wait to play some ball with the kids and teenagers in Kenya, I bet they are ballers.
In my spare time when I am not working at my neighborhood grocery store as a cashier, I can be found hammocking with friends at school, just being outside, playing music with my friends, and more often than not, recording worship music at home.
I do not really have any pet pieves or anything of that nature. I am a very easy going, go-with-the-flow guy who just loves to love on people the way Jesus did, plain and simple. Oh, and I like hot tea, very vital information.
I have great expectations for this trip, from getting to know you guys on a deep levels to seeing the miraculous glory of God displayed. I cannot wait to point people to the love of God and to the savior of the world Jesus.
This will be my first mission trip out of the country and I could not be more excited.
I am praying blessing and discernment over you all as we prepare more and more everyday for our trip with the Father.
Matt
