Hello everyone my name is Lynden Nugteren I am a male... (i guess Lynden can also be a girls name...sept usually spelled Linden if female... so just clearing that up) Also no, I am not named after the American President Lyndon B. Johnson, In fact I am not even American at all. I am Canadian although I don't really feel like one since i grew up in Wisconsin (where might I just add we just won the super bowl... just sayin). At this point in my life i mostly just categorize my as a human for the lack there of a country. People always ask me  “where is it better to live in Canada (where I am currently living) or the United States?” At this point I have come to the realization that no matter what the country they’re all just people you will find the same types in both countries. Ultimately we are all first and foremost apart of God’s Kingdom not matter what’s on our Flag. Having no country has been a blessing in disguise for me in that it has helped me realize that.

A bit more about me is I love music and am excited to see that a bunch of ya'll do as well! Especially the alternative rockers out there! Absolutely fantastic! I too enjoy some alternative earthy acoustic music. I also love to play guitar and various other instruments. I also love to sing. I sing in my shower, I sing in my car, I sing in igloos (cause as we all know Canada is full of them….) I used to be a part of a praise band, I was never super confident back then with it because I would tend to get stage fright. Nonetheless I like to sing and play guitar.

Unlike most of you, if not all of you, I am not enrolled in a college at the moment, aside from a few college credits here and there. If anybody had asked me back when i was in high school what I would do after I graduate I would have for sure told them that I would go on to college just like everyone else. I would have never guessed I would be where I am now. The Lord truly has been at work in my life and though it was not my plan to basically be deported; He had plans to prosper me not to harm me. It's awesome to now start to see His plans for my life come in to play!

Over the years I have been able to go one a few different mission trips in various place in the United State of America. I have also been able to have the great opportunity to get involved in a Christian youth organization called Youth for Christ. It has given me experience in working with both high school and middle school age youths in the community. Doing such work has really given me a real passion for youth ministry. Hopefully this trip will help affirm what I feel is a call to go into such work. And that is a real big hope as I am planning on finally attending the school I was accepted into, two years ago for Youth ministry, this coming fall.

Well anyways I feel as though I ramble on so I will wrap this up….

I cannot wait to meet all of you and get to know you better. I hope and pray that all goes well for everyone as far as the various things we need to all do to prepare. This mission trip will hopefully be an awesome experience for all of us. There is no better feeling than the feeling you get from doing the Lords work and spreading the Word of His Great gift  to us!!  B)

… and yes my smiley face is wearing glasses and they’re not prescription but solely for looks … how do you feel about that?

I surely hope I put this so called, "blog bio thing" in the right place...
