Hey there my name is Christian (no middle name) Zamarriego, but I go by Chris. I was born in Long Beach, California and maninly raised in Fontana, CA. I moved to Hemet when I started High School. Last year I moved into an apartment with 2 close friends while i was attending Riverside Community College, but recentley moved back in with my parents to save money for the trip and also because my room mate lost his job and couldn't pay rent anymore. I still attend RCC as a full time student and I plan to transfer to Moody Bible Insitute in Chicago this fall. I want to become a full-time missionary and follow in ministry. When I come back, I want to open a non-profit orginazation in an urban area to help the home less and young troubled kids. I work grave yard shift at a warehouse working for a company called Deutsch. 11pm-6am. I enjoy basically anything. My hobbies are riding my fixed geared bike long distances, I go to shows, i love music and all types of it. I played soccer for 7 years and have it as a hobby now, I love sports. LA Angels, LA Lakers and The Eagles. I have my own clothing company that I've been working on for a while now. I love the beach, the city night life, and attending sports games. I guess the list can go on and on about what i enjoy doing but i'll leave it at that. Im allergic to shrimp whick sucks, because I love sea food. I'm a sucker for sweets. I have tattoos and plan to get more. I love doing spontaneous stuff with friends and I hardly ever plan anything. I go with the flow and bust out on some random adventures, like roaming Hollywood at 4 in the morning for some Pink's hot dogs. I've done a mission trip to Porvenir, Mexico with my youth group. Ive done  two, one month long internships with "The family center" in East Palo Alto working with inner city kids. I've done work with YWAM and helped out at the Dream Center in Downtown Los Angeles. I've also worked summer camps at the YMCA mentoring Jr High kids. I currently am on the Jr High staff at my church and have been working there for 3 years now. Basically, im always on-the-go and i love being super busy all the time. Africa by far is going to be so life changing both for us as a team and the people we get to minister with. I'm actually nervous on coming back home. I don't want to get back here and feel discouraged and useless because im not on active ministry somewhere in the world. I need to surrender the whole situation to God and rely on His soverignty for this trip. Well, I feel a tad weird talking about myself for this long. Praying for all of you, see you soon!
